Subtle and creative. i liked the icons too. The images take a bit time to load .. maybe you can optimize for the low-bandwidth viewers.

Nicely done, like the color scheme. Feels calm. I am not sure if i am seeing things wrong but i can see there are white edges around the link icons and they are places against a non white background. I have marked the edges of the icons. The image of the site u posted in the very beginning didnt have this problem. Other than this things look coool
