good going mate. check the element borders in 1st design. it sometimes covering the main object. and for 2nd one- background is cool, but the black at the center looks dirty. hope you understand. cheers!

yes, you need to reduce the black stroke thickness, its disturbing the text. btw did you do the calligraphy as well?
