The event is typically ‘Hague’ because the Graphic Design study at the Royal Academy of Art (The Hague) has always dedicated special attention to these design disciplines. Today many former students work as type designers and typographers while many hold an impressive international reputation in several countries as designers, teachers or speakers during conferences about these disciplines: graphic design and visual communication.
Since 1999 the Royal Academy of Art has been providing the international post graduate study called Type&Media.
In 2008 this exceptional study even became a master study.
