Australia is good in terms of Good Weather (10-15 degree C), Welcoming/helpful people, Tremendous transportation system, Safety/Security, Food shops. Pure/Fresh foods, Systematic and everything. These are actually good parts of Australia.

Bad part: Bit expensive, Hard to find job right now, Accommodation problem for new students, sometimes hard to understand Aussie accents :)

BUT IF YOU A HAVE JOB (ODD/EVEN) AUSTRALIA IS THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE TO ME, though I have not enough idea about other countries. But I feel that.
