i agree with Tariq, the black n white version looks good.

i don't know why you have a used a sky background behind the three images in the header? these 3 images itself makes a good header if you don't crop it from both sides. also, you may have to change the font of "search" button because this font is not used in the layout and would add a 3rd font to the website which is not good.

both are good to me. still few comments:
1. give a few breathing space around the logo. its bit tightened. could be smaller the logo.
2. for color version the background is bit burn. you can make it bit sophisticated.
3. also agree with shamoon for banner sky background and introducing new fonts without no reason.

overall its a very nice design, just need few modification. cheers!
